Jung Eun Ji
Jung Eun Ji is a beautiful and lively girl that spend her time by taking care of her best friend, Hyun Jin. She’s so concerned about him and loves him so much. She had a secret crush on Hyun Jin since childhood and won’t forgive her if anything happened to Hyun Jin.
Jin Hyun Jin / Zin
Hyun Jin or Zin is a boy who diagnosed as “Separation Anxiety Disorder”. He gets anxious whenever someone left him even for a while. He gets this disorder ever since his family leave him. He had no one other than Eun Ji, his childhood best friend. Eun Ji spends her time by taking take of him, that’s why he gets close with Eun Ji.
Son Naeun
Naeun is Eun Ji’s best friend. At first she didn’t approve that Eun Ji would rather spends time taking care of Hyun Jin than mingle in outside world. But after seeing how sincere Eun Ji is toward Hyun Jin and realizes how Hyun Jin is so meaningful in her life, she started to support her in anyway.

“Eun Ji! Eun Ji!” Zin shouted from his room. ‘Here we go again’ Eun Ji thought as she run to Zin’s room.
“Nae! Hyun Jin-ah! I’m here!” she said as she walks in. Quickly she approaches Zin, who probably experience some kind of nightmare in his dream. Slowly, Zin opened his eyes.
“Eun Ji! Thanks god, you’re here!” he hugged Eun Ji. “I thought I might lose you!” he squalled as he tightens his embrace.
“I’m here! I’m not going anywhere….” Eun Ji said as she blushes.
Zin pulls Eun Ji out in an arm’s length, “Stay with me tonight, please?” he asked as he looked into Eun Ji’s eyes.
Eun Ji nodded. “Arraseo! But let me finish my work first at the kitchen. I’ll be here after that,” she said as she holds Zin’s hand.
Zin nodded. “Promise me, you will be here right after you finish the work,” Zin said in fearful voice.
“Nae..” Eun Ji promised Zin as she released Zin hands and laid him back on the back. Slowly, she tucks Zin in his blanket. Zin gave her a weak smile. Eun Ji then walks out of the room and closed the door. As she walks towards the kitchen, her tears started to blur her vision as she cries. “Hyun Jin-ah” she mumbled Zin’s name.

Half an hour later, after making sure that her eyes doesn’t puffy, she walks upstairs and enters Zin’s room. She saw Zin is sitting on his bed, stares at her. She smiles and said, “Why you didn’t sleep yet?”
“I’m waiting for you. I’m afraid you might go and leave me” Zin said in frightened voice.
Eun Ji approaches Zin and quickly holds his cheek. “I told you, I’m not going to leave you.”
Zin gives her a weak smile. “That’s what my parents told me, then why they leave me?” he asked.
Eun Ji gets on the bed and hugged Zin’s neck. “We shouldn’t look back to the past. Think about the future. I’m here and I will not leave you like your parent’s does.”
Zin didn’t hug her back. He just stay froze at Eun Ji’s embrace. Slowly Eun Ji sets Zin down on the bed and lies down beside Zin. She’s patted Zin’s back and sings a lullaby. After a while, Zin falls into a deep sleep. Zin’s even breaths signaled that he had fallen into a deep sleep. Slowly she rubs Zin’s cheek in once again her tears falls. “Hyun Jin-ah! I love you forever~” she mumbled before she falls asleep beside Zin.

Next morning, as usual Eun Ji went to school with Naeun, her best friend. They walk to school as Naeun’s apartment wasn’t far from school.
“Hey! How’s Hyun Jin’s progress?” Naeun asked in all of the sudden.
“Huh? Ohh, Hyun Jin is doing so well. Except for his anxiety problem.” Eun Ji sighs slowly.
“I don’t understand you. You’re not like the other girls, who love to go out and have fun in night life. You should have some fun too!” Naeun said as she compared Eun Ji with the other girl in their school.
“Seeing Hyun Jin’s happy makes me happy too. I can’t bear to see him shouting and screaming when he’s alone. If it’s possible, I rather end up living with him forever than go out and ruined myself” Eun Ji explained.
“But why? Why Hyun Jin end up being like that? You know, sometime I think Hyun Jin is like abandoned dog that need his master attention,”
Eun Ji chuckles with Naeun’s statement. “Well, Hyun Jin is like an abandoned dog that needs a lot of love and care. You would never imagined what he has been gone through alone all this time. His parents’ died in an awful accident that changed his whole life. His older brother, Hyun Jeong was murdered by his late father’s enemy. He even watches with his own eyes – how Hye Won being tortured and died.” She stopped for a while as she takes her breathe. “If I were him, I think I might end up commit a suicide or maybe living in a mental institution.” She said as she sighs.
“So that’s what happened all this time. I’m sorry Eun Ji-ah! I didn’t know the real story.” Naeun apologizes.
“I don’t mind.” She said as she holds Naeun’s hands.
Both of them later happily skipped to school.

Later after school, Eun Ji went home late a bit as she stops by at the grocery store to buy some grocery. Eun Ji walks home calmly as she thinks about today special dinner that she’s gonna make.
She enters Jin’s family mansion and calls Zin. “Hyun Jin! Hyun Jin-ah!” but no replies. She’s become curious because usually Zin would answer her calls but not this time. “Hyun Jin! Hyun Jin-ah!” she searches the whole mansion for Zin. ‘Where is he? He usually at the living room waiting for me’ she thought.
As Eun Ji walks by Mr and Mrs. Jin room, she heard someone is crying. ‘Hyun Jin?’ she thought as she walks nears the room. The sound of sobbing can be clearly heard now. Eun Ji recognizes that sob.
Quickly she opens the door and revealed that Zin is sitting on the bed, crying.
“Hyun Jin…” she calls Zin as she walks in. Zin looked up and quickly dash to Eun Ji for a hug. “Where have you been today?” he asked as he sobs. “I went to school like usual. I already told you this morning right?” Eun Ji explained as she hugs Zin back. Zin tightens his embrance. “But why you come home so late?”
“I went to the grocery store to buy something for the dinner.” She stops a while as she held her breathe. “Mianhae” she apologizes.
Zin helds Eun Min out at arm’s length and stares into her eyes. “I thought I might lose you.” He said
“Aniya. How many times do I need to tell you? I won’t leave you.” Eun Ji smiles a bit to brighten Zin up.
Zin just looked into Eun Ji’s eyes and release his grip on her. “Arraseo” he replied.
“Let’s go! I’m going to cook something special for dinner. You want to help me?” she offers in her usual happy voice.
“Nae ! I wanna help you!” he replies as he’s smiling. Without much ado, Eun Ji quickly held Zin’s hand and went to the kitchen.
